Mill City Productions is pleased to its upcoming production of the musical, "Drood" by Rupert Holmes. The production is directed by Kari Daly, with musical direction by Marissa Carlson.

"Drood" is a musical based on the unfinished Charles Dickens novel, "The Mystery of Edwin Drood". This murder mystery whodunnit was the first Broadway musical to feature multiple endings which is determined by audience vote. The story itself deals with John Jasper, a Jekyll-and-Hyde choirmaster who is quite madly in love with his music student, the fair Miss Rosa Bud, who in turn, is engaged to Jasper's nephew, young Edwin Drood. When the title character disappears mysteriously one stormy Christmas Eve, everyone becomes a suspect.

Productions will take place at Heritage State Park, Building 4 North, next to the Visitor's Center, in North Adams.  Tickets are on sale now.
