“Schoolhouse Rock Live!” was directed by Patrick Harris and musically directed by Marissa Carlson. This fun, fast-paced stage musical – based on the Emmy Award-winning 1970s Saturday morning cartoon series, teaches history, grammar, math, science, and politics through clever and catchy songs. Tracy, a teacher nervous about her first day of teaching, tries to relax by watching TV when various characters emerge from the set and show her how to win her students over with imagination and music, through such beloved Schoolhouse Rock songs as “Just A Bill,” “Lolly, Lolly, Lolly” and “Conjunction Junction”.

“Schoolhouse Rock Live!” features local residents Brooke Mead, Courtney Shapiro, Samantha Therrien and Amy Van Dusen as well as Carlson and Harris and is appropriate for the whole family.
