To the editor:

Don't miss this! On Saturday, Dec. 1, I saw "The Rabbit Hole" at Main Street Stage in North Adams. It was wonderful.

It's about a family dealing with the loss of a child. I couldn't believe how well done it was. The author, producer, director, and actors were superb.

I'm not just saying this because I know Liz Urban, the star, or Trevor Foehl, a former student of mine who I always knew should be a performer, are in it. It's not because they are bringing attention to my children's memorial either.

I am speaking as a bereaved parent who can't fathom how they KNEW exactly how it feels — what you think, say, and above all, how others act around you.

This play, a new one, has won numerous awards for its approach to death, and grieving the worst loss of all. This play is not only for bereaved parents. It's for family, friends, co-workers and neighbors, to give you insight into "The Rabbit Hole."
